(IAT – Pro Loco) – Santarcangelo di Romagna

This website is not only helpful for tourists but also for the locals.

Santarcangelo is a truly unique city, not only because of its many artistic itineraries, but it also boasts exquisite restaurants with mouth-watering traditional cuisine, beautiful shops and, it is considered the “gate to the Marecchia Valley” as it is conveniently located along the Via Emilia; just 10 km from Rimini and 17 km from Cesena.

Rimini’s famous beaches are only a short car/bus ride away. It is also very close to the Apennine Mountains. Santarcangelo can be easily reached by car as it is near the A14 autostrada or by train.

The best way to visit Santarcangelo, like most cities rich in history, art and culture, is to walk around the city centre. Just follow your instincts and wander through the quaint streets lined with cafes, bars, restaurants and shops in the heart of the town; then meander through the quiet, winding alleys of the old town which offer amazing views.
